Client Testimonial
August, 2011
May, 2011 my darling husband Jon was diagnosed with end stage Cancer. We were devastated. In June I prepared to retire so I could stay home with Jon and care for him. With the loss of my income I begin to check out loan modifications. CDA Law Center was on the internet along with others and I contacted them. Todd Jarrett answered my call and seemed to have all the answers I needed. He offered to come to our home as Jon could no longer travel. Todd visited with us and provided all the answers to questions we had. I was still hesitant as we had heard all the stories about bad modifications, the length of time, and the cost but he had impressed us enough that we requested CDA Law Center guide us through this confusing process. On July 1st I retired and Jon died in my arms on July 6. Do you hear my heart crying with that sentence? The loss of my love was bad enough but all Jon's retirement income also ceased. I called Todd and told him to forget the whole thing that I did not care if I was on the streets. Well, after I had my meltdown and family and friends picked me back up again I called Todd back and asked if his firm would still represent me. There are not the right words to describe the gentle guidance, caring attitude, professional handling of our loan modification. Todd Jarret, Stephen Phillips, and the rest of the staff that contacted me could not have been more supportive or knowledgeable of what needed to be done and how to do it. I have a granddaughter I am raising who now will have the stability of her home while she finishes high school. Nothing will ever take the place of my Jon but knowing my granddaughter is secure, that I have a home for my cats and dogs, that my children do not have to visit their mother in the streets, how do you rate something like that. I know that Jon can rest knowing his family has been so well taken care of by the people at CDA Law Firm. God Bless them all for their care of us during this very difficult time. I would recommend this firm to others without any hesitation.Jo Ann M.

CDA Law Center is a legal center staffed with experienced case managers, paralegals, analysts, former underwriters, and attorneys that work together to gather your information and conduct a financial analysis to determine if you may qualify for a loan modification. Unlike banks or finance companies that provide you with loans, loan modification companies like the CDA Law Center work to get their clients better terms on loans that already exist. Their investigator has more than twenty-eight years of Predatory lending experience and is recognized as an expert witness in these types of cases. Unlike other loan modification companies, CDA does not provide you with a compliance module computer generated report, but instead offers a hands-on investigation so that you receive a copy of every report and violation found along with a background on the laws that were violated. They will determine whether or not they are likely to successfully negotiate your case with your lender.
If so, they will fight on your behalf to get you the legal protection and immediate foreclosure relief you need at a fraction of what a refinance loan would cost you. Loan modification companies can help you get lower payments, fix your interest rate, reduce your loan balance and stop foreclosure. The loan modification services from the legal staff at CDA. Avoiding foreclosure is one of the most important tasks on many of their clients’ minds when they come to them for help. Foreclosure is the process in which your mortgage or other lien holder obtains a court ordered termination of a mortgagor’s equitable right of redemption. If you have failed to make your payment per the terms of your mortgage or deed of trust, you may have received a “Notice of Default” on your loan. Not only will foreclosure mean losing your home, it will also have a negative impact on your credit score by several hundred points as well as disqualify you for a new mortgage for at least three years. Loan modification companies are the next best answer when you can’t stick with the terms of your mortgage agreement and make your payments on time.
If you are having financial hardship and can document the facts while you still have a solid income and the desire to keep your home, CDA Law Center can represent your interests to your lender and renegotiate your existing loan. Don’t trust your home to other loan modification companies that don’t have the experienced case managers, paralegals, and attorneys at CDA. They will build a case and notify your lender that you are represented by legal council and force them to deal directly with our attorney. They will no longer contact you directly. There are a number of examples of hardship that can help you qualify for help from loan modification companies including an inability to work due to health issues, business failure, death of a spouse or family member or even mounting bills.
